In considering breaking the rules displayed in the previous post and a few related ones, I have saved myself some effort and possibly embarrassment with a small amount of facebook work. I think. To be honest with myself the data are conflicting and difficult to analyze. So I'll stick with what I know, the rules.
Some not insignificant part of me wants to get more specific data and act from those, but I don't know. The best information I have is too poor for any confidence in the results. So...I'm going to do nothing, suppress these thought like all the other ones, and continue on as if I hadn't had these thoughts.

Subsection upon: Flirting

Rule 1: Conscious flirting with any person you could reasonably become attracted is prohibited, to be punished with hope and despair in alternating sequence. Subconscious flirting is permissible provided rule 2 is not violated.

Rule 2: If being flirted upon, show no interest with flirter if flirting would be prohibited under rule 1, to be punished in the manner proscribed in rule 1.

Therefore: Flirting is only permissible with straight men and lesbian women.

Following these rules will lead to a proper and discordant society.
